      Call Of Duty is a first person shooter series published by Activision with most of the titles developed by Infinity Ward and Treyarch. Every year a new title is expected to be released with Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch interchanging as producers. Call of Duty games uses advanced and great engines to run their games. Call of Duty, the first installment in the frachise, won over eighty Game of the Year awards in 2003. In 2005, Call of Duty 2 was released and sold one million copies and was the bestselling game of that year. In 2007, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was a great commercial success, being the bestselling game of 2007 and having sold 10 million copies by June 2008. As in 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 broke out the record of highest bringing in $310 million in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia alone, beating the GTA IV's record of $310 million worldwide.


Call of Duty: ----2003
          Call of Duty is the first title on call of duty franchise, based on the Quake III Arena engine. The game was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. The game simulates the infantry and combined arms warfare of World War II.. The game follows the American paratroopers, British paratroopers and the Red army.

Call of Duty 2: ----2005
          Call of Duty 2 is a first-person shooter computer/video game and sequel to the critically acclaimed game Call of Duty. It was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. The game is set during World War II and is experienced through the perspectives of soldiers in the Red Army, British Army and United States Army.

Call of Duty 3: ----2006
          Call of Duty 3 is a World War II first-person shooter and the third installment in the Call of Duty video game franchise. It is released on November 7, 2006; the game was developed by Treyarch, and was the first major installment in the Call of Duty series that is developed by Treyarch. Call of Duty 3 follows the American, Canadian, British, French Resistance, and Polish armies after D-Day in the Falaise Gap.

Modern Warfare:

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: ----2007
         Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the fourth installment of the Call of Duty series, and was developed by Infinity Ward. It is the first game in the series that is set during modern era. It was also the first to receive a Mature rating from the ESRB. As of May 2009, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has sold over 13 million copies.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2:----2009
       Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the sixth installment of the main series. It was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. The game was released worldwide on November 10, 2009, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. Modern Warfare 2 is the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and continues the same storyline, taking place five years after the first game and featuring several returning characters including Captain Price and Soap MacTavish.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3:----2011
          Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a first-person shooter computer/video game. It is the eighth installment of the Call of Duty series and the third installment of the Modern Warfare series. The game continues the story from the point at which it ended in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and continues the fictional battle story between United States and Russia, which evolves into the Third World War between NATO allied nations and Ultra-nationalist Russia.

Black Ops

Call of Duty: World at War: ----2008
        Call of Duty: World at War developed by Treyarch is the fifth installment of the main series and a prologue to Black Ops. It returns to the World War II setting of earlier titles. The game uses the same proprietary game engine as Call of Duty 4. As of June 2009, Call of Duty: World at War has sold over 11 million copies.

Call of Duty: Black Ops: ----2010
       Call of Duty: Black Ops is a 2010 first-person shooter computer/video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, the third game in the series to be developed by Treyarch, and the first game to take place during the Cold War and partially in the Vietnam War
Call of Duty: Black Ops II: ----2012
        Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a first-person shooter computer/video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, the game was revealed as Call of Duty: Black Ops II when the official site went live on May 1, 2012. Black Ops II is the first game in the Call of Duty franchise to feature sci-fi settings and weapons. It is a sequel to the previous Black Ops title.

Ghosts:

Call of Duty: Ghosts: ----2013

          Call of Duty: Ghosts is the tenth main installment in the series, and was developed at Infinity Ward. It has a spin off story line compared to other call of duty titles with a new world and settings. However  a sequel to Call of Duty Ghosts is expected for the future.

Advanced Warfare:

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare: ----2014
       Before being switched to become the co-developers of Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer Games were already working on a Call of Duty game. This game was announced before Modern Warfare 3 and after Black Ops; however, no details were released. The game was said to be an action-adventure first-person shooter computer/video game.
